:[[Ro:paR|/Ro:paR/]]. All races and species of [[Sentient species|sentient beings]] on [[The world|our target planet]] value /Ro:paR/ (IPA) as the highest goal of their existences, and indeed believe it to be the thing that the [[Aether]] and the [[Potential]] exist to promote; actions are evaluated according to whether they accord with Ro:paR or combat it. They pronounce it alike though they may use different scripts and languages. Ro:paR may be translated as 'zeal for right harmony', 'just anger' or 'passion for justice'. However, different categories of being on the planet think of themselves as having Ro:paR of different qualities - notably, some having '[[patient Ro:paR]]' and some '[[urgent Ro:paR]]'.

==Trivia==

* /Ro:paR/ was the fourth move in the Greater Game. It was originally introduced with the title "Move 4", but it was not numbered in the Canon.
* This move was introduced by [[User:AndyGr|AndyGr]] and managed by [[User:Dominick|Dominick]] under the theme [[Foundation (theme)|Foundation]].
* During this move, players the origin of this universality of belief across the planet. It was suggested that "an interstellar species arrived and put nanochips in all their brains as part of some really bizarre psychowarfare" or "a very compelling ethical (not necessarily religious) leader... gained the universal trust of the beings". Neither of these suggestions have been confirmed by the Canon.
* The capital R in /Ro:paR/ refers to the [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voiced_uvular_trill|voiced uvular trill], more commonly written with ⟨ʀ⟩. Since the move says the word is pronounced "alike" across languages, it is unclear whether the pronunciation [ʀoːpaʀ] is precisely the same across all languages or if there are approximations and transliterations.
* The out-of-universe etymology of Ro:paR comes from the name of the civil rights icon [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosa_Parks|Rosa Parks].
