The rikogyujin is an intelligent species in the main planet of The Greater Game.

The Rikogyujin is hexapedal, long and heavily furred. It features a relatively elongated body with an evolutionary remnant of a tail, currently musculated but with limited movement range. Their average height ranks at 1.4 meters upon adulthood, with some of the tallest managing to be as tall as 1.6m

It features 6 extremities, 4 supportive ones with a 4 appendices based in a 4-point-star shape and flat sole, and 2 interaction ones slightly higher up the vertebrae system, featuring a hand-like tool with 5 fingers, two fo which are opposing. Their arms also feature 2 opposing articulations on top of the shoulder joint. This gives the rikogyujin's arm a very high moiton range and rather complex position potential.

It features an elongated head with a long nose slightly curved downwards, eyes facing sidewides and slightly upwards, and 4 olfatory chemical receptors located at the protuberances a both sides of the head, in its nose and in the protuberance located in the back of the head. The nose is also capable of emiting as well with glands that are also located in their fingertips and tailtip.

The rikogyujin's habitat is primarily the north and south poles of the planet. Their thick and heavily furred skin works as a protection to enviromental hazards, as well as predators.

The rikogyujin features an unusual but rather advantageous communication system based on chemical compounds. Similarly to how information can be stored in complex chemical compounds in the form of DNA, big and complex molecules are often used to communicate complex rikogyujin languages, who have extremely primitive vocalic capabilities. This is thought to have evolved to work better in the windy environment in which the rikogyujin inhabitates: since the compounds are not dependant on order or any kind of sequence, fast, violent wind help messages to travel way farther than sound could have in the same situation.
