Magic

Magic is the name for actions performed through mysterious or supernatural forces. The theme Foundation asks "Is there magic in this universe?", partially answered by the move The Potential, which states that through harnessing the Potential, sentient lifeforms "are able to perform acts of what we might otherwise call magic".

Species that are confirmed to have magical abilities include the Phils and the Spectral Moose. Presumably, Humons do not have magical abilities, given that they "have no natural abilities to interact with the Potential," but it may be possible for Humons to control magic indirectly through other means.

The dead souls of magical beings are able to communicate with the living. The dead souls of non-magical beings are able to communicate with magical species.
