Humons

The world contains a sentient lifeform called Humons (a placeholder name). Anatomically speaking, Humons are identical to real-world humans, except for one major difference: they are a hermaphroditic species. Thus, most Humons are able both to impregnate and become pregnant. Humons have no natural abilities to interact with the Potential, but that has not stopped them from finding resourceful ways to manipulate the Ethereal Field.
