Floating Wanderers

Floating Wanderers are plants. This range of free-floating aquatic plant (with both lake and oceanic varieties) have no means of self-propulsion, but float freely with the tides and the currents. These carnivorous plants have dangling structures (visibly similar to, and evolved from, roots) which capture plankton and smaller nektonic organisms.

Trivia

  • Floating Wanderers were introduced as an example during the move Plants. The Game Manager Trafalgar seemed to approve the addition of this example, but Trafalgar did not officially record it to the canon. Thus, the canonicity of Floating Wanderers is disputable.
  • Floating Wanderers has analogies in the real world, such as Venus flytraps and pitcher plants.
  • Dominick said the Floating Wanderers seemed more like protists than plants.
