The move Exodimensional Space was introduced on 1 July 2020[1] and submitted to the Canon on 3 July 2020.[2]
Text
Sabiki introduced the move with the following text:
- Yasutoge Yasanakyum
- The interdimensional space (Hitoku: *yasutoge yasanakyum*, shortened to "*yasuto*") is the space in which **the entire multidimensional system is located**. It is a place where **physical laws break**, and **matter cannot exist**. Instead, to communicate between universes and movilize matter between dimensions, a substance is required: **`The Aether`** (Hitoku: *fushun*), a substance that flows from the entirety of the universe and contains the universes, works as a shell for the matter not to scatter and disappear in the Yasuto, and transports matter through naturally formed "cracks" across the inside of the fushun collumns (Hitoku: "*deneka tagyoku*", or simply "t*agyoku*") that form between fushun shells.
- Multiple artistic interpretations have visualized the Yasuto as **an endless**, **pitch black emptiness** in which **bubbles of fushun contain stars and galaxies**, all of existence, and connect with one another in flows of tagyoku.
Sabiki edited the move on 2 July 2020 to say:
- Exodimensional space
- The Exodimensional space (Or EDS. Hitoku: yasuteri yasanakyum) is the space in which the entire multidimensional system is located. It is a space where physical laws break, and matter cannot exist. Instead, to communicate between universes and movilize matter between dimensions, a substance is required: The Aether (Hitoku: fushun), a substance that flows from the entirety of the multiverse and contains the universes, works as a shell for the matter not to scatter and disappear in the EDS, and transports matter through naturally formed "cracks" across the inside of the fushun collumns (Hitoku: "deneka tagyoku", or simply "tagyoku") that form between aether shells. This allowed entire universes to disappear, or simple transfer matter and energy to another.
- Multiple artistic interpretations have visualized the EDS as an endless, pitch black emptiness in which bubbles of aether contain stars and galaxies, all of existence, and connect with one another in interuniversal flows of aether.
Dominick submitted the move to the Canon with the following text:
- Exodimensional space. The exodimensional space (EDS) is the space in which the entire multidimensional system is located. It is a space where physical laws break, and matter cannot exist. Instead, to communicate between universes and mobilize matter between dimensions requires the aether, a substance that flows from the entirety of the multiverse and contains the universes, working as a shell for the matter not to scatter and disappear in the EDS, and transports matter through naturally formed "cracks" across the inside of the aetherial columns that form between aetherial shells. This allowed entire universes to disappear, or simple transfer matter and energy to another. Multiple artistic interpretations have visualized the EDS as an endless, pitch black emptiness in which bubbles of aether contain stars and galaxies, all of existence, and connect with one another in interuniversal flows of aether.
Sabiki included an image with the original text. Unfortunately, the Canon submission form does not allow a way to upload images.
Trivia
- Exodimensional Space is the second move in the Greater Game. It is not numbered in the Canon.
- Exodimensional Space is the first move to be accompanied by an illustration.
- Sabiki was listed in the Canon as Matalya in the entry for Exodimensional Space.
- According to the author of this move, the terminology "yasutoge yasanakyum", "fushun", and "deneka tagyoku" derive from an out-of-universe invented language called Hitoku. The in-universe names for the concepts introduced in these moves is currently undetermined. Thus, the game manager did not include those terms in the Canon.
