Smellegram

The Smellegram is a hypothesized communication device used by the Rikogyujin. It has not yet been confirmed by the Canon as to whether or not smellegrams exist.

Trivia

• The idea originated when RavShimon pointed out that it is "hard to use a telephone by smell", referring to the Rikogyugin's chemical system of communication. Dominick quipped, "Although, perhaps they use a written form of communication in that case. Maybe they skipped the telephone and went straight to texting, much like millennials." Then RavShimon declared, "Before the smellephone was invented, of course, they used to send smellegrams."
• Dominick asked whether a smellegram is just a scratch and sniff card. To which RavShimon replied, "no, the post would be scratch-and-sniff cards. Smellegraphy would entail electronic (or other near-instantaneous--somehow Potential-based, perhaps?) transmission."
