Text

Trafalgar recorded the move to the Canon with the following text:

Move 9 ¾: Humons. The world contains a sentient lifeform called Humons (a placeholder name). Anatomically speaking, Humons are identical to real-world humans, except for one major difference: they are a hermaphroditic species. Thus, most Humons are able both to impregnate and become pregnant. Humons have no natural abilities to interact with the Potential, but that has not stopped them from finding resourceful ways to manipulate the Ethereal Field.

Trivia

  • Humons was the eleventh move in the Greater Game. It was numbered "Move 9 ¾" in reference to Platform 9 ¾ from the Harry Potter series and the fact that it came between so-called Move 9 and a move numbered as Move 10. The move was recorded in the Canon with the 9 ¾ number.
  • This move was introduced by Dominick and managed by Trafalgar during Round 2.
  • When asked whether Humons can self-fertilize, Dominick answered, "I imagine their sex organs would be configured in a way that would make self-fertilization unlikely. Maybe Humon scientists found a way around that, but it probably would be socially unacceptable and considered incest."
